If I had to make a bucket list, I'd only put one item on it

I'd love to take a romantic interest to themepark the Efteling for a full week. Taking 2-3 hour trips into the park once or twice a day to give a bit of background info on the stories and design of the attractions, and cuddle in the onsite hotel room in between to rest our feet and process the impressions.

I'm not even sure why, because the attractions themselves give me mild anxiety every time I think about visiting on my own or with regular friends, and the walking/standing is going to be exhausting. But maybe talking about the park will ease the anxiety and many short trips could help enough with the fatigue.

But alas, a week long visit is going to be very expensive and I don't have a romantic interest. Maybe some day though...

Can you not take your scooter with you??? It might save you some of the walking...
@NerdyPotato No, but how many rides are you realistically going to get on in your time frame while allowing for your health???

I'd imagine that they would let you park by the exit somewhere so you don't have a long walk back to it.

Assuming worse case scenario you have an hour to queue for your rides and you go on two, then you take your remaining hour to eat and drink, before you head back to your room to rest for the next session.

That's the sort of timeline I would look at without pacing anyway... even with a scooter.

It might be better to aim for a longer period and pace the daylights out of it, even if it turns out to feel more like a tour of the concession stands in the park.

That seems to be how I hid my condition from my mother.
@HootyTheNightOwl true, it will still save a lot of steps.
@NerdyPotato Yes, I thought that with it, you might be able to pace yourself better and be there for a longer time period... though I also thought that you might prefer your own, too, because if either of you are sensitive to static electricity, those hired ones seem to be good conductors.

I learned not to touch STBX after my fourth time of getting zapped while he was sat on one that he had hired.

Paradoxically I have never been zapped touching him when he's been operating a privately owned scooter or powered wheelchair... go figure...
