Almost got robbed on my last day of vacation

It was our last day so we decided to have dinner at this expensive restaurant, we finished eating but I was feeling cold in my short dress so told them go ahead I will go back to the hotel and change, my husband and son left to get ice cream, I went back to the restaurant and stood outside waiting for them, it was around nine pm we were heading somewhere else, I saw this boy around 15 to 20 ,,riding his bike he kept staring at me the whole time I was there,, I just looked away and ignored him, then he started circling around me with his bike, I knew that he knew I wasn't from here that I was a tourist from my look, anyways he started saying hello and smiling non stop ,,I just kept looking the other side and I saw that my husband was coming back with my son from far, he tried to approach me from the back then he saw my husband telling my son run to your mom, he was so scared and nodded at him, when we left to the restaurant I told my husband what happened and suddenly he just got so mad pulled up his sleeves and ran fast towards him, I kept shouting just leave him, but he insisted on beating him up, by the time he went back to the restaurant the boy was already gone, my husband said he was definitely trying to rob you and I said perhaps he was just slow or something, apparently the police was here earlier cause there was another robbery of a tourist, I think he thought I was an easy target standing alone outside with my purse.
