Was I in the wrong? Waterpark.

I was at a water park at a seaside town in the UK.

I was with my wife and a few other couples, we were there for the weekend.

At the water park they have waterslides, I went on one of them but didn't weigh myself as no one was looking.

Well, I went down it and got stuck several times, my wife was so embarrassed when I finally managed to splash down as they say.

They did tell me not to ride on them again, due to my weight being too heavy. It does happen a lot they told me so I should not be so embarrassed.
