When I was in Cairo once some bish told me it was 10 THOUSAND USD cover to enter a club
It wasn't even anything special. Just people in there smoking hookahs. It was right by a pier I remember.
Also she acted like this was no problem and even was kind of acting condescending towards me like I couldn't pay. Which I could at the time because I was at a time in my life where I was young and didn't give a shit about the future only right now.
But I also wasn't THAT stupid.
I was just reminded of this experience because I was looking up holiday destinations.
I always wonder about what was happening in there to this day. Was it just a scam? Did she not understand just exactly was 10k means to an average American because most Egyptians are broke as fuck? Was there something illicit going on inside that club that made it worth the money to the right person? Was she just TRYING to keep me out specifically? I will never know.
