This is when you discover the need for highway bars, and some way to lock the throttle. Also it always rains on every trip for me, so owning a 100% waterproof jacket is very important along with waterproof overgloves.

@JamesBugman we have rain coats packed just in case. I'm not a big rider but my partner is. He almost never gets to ride much anymore because we're so busy.
