Awesome, I had a 12 hour layover in the Frankfurt airport back in January. By the time I got my bag and found my next gate it was Midnight, so I didn't think I should venture away from the airport. I didn't want to get into any "local trouble."
I still have bad habits. 😅

@calicuz I did a weekend layover in Frankfurt coming back from one of my India trips. I drove down to Heidelberg and spent a day there. It was fun, except I had issues with the time diff, sinus probs from the Indian pollution and weather being drizzly in Germany, and the usual India tummy issues.

Yeah I was in Cairo for a week, back in January, for a short vacation, and near the end I noticed the pollution getting to my throat. Beautiful culture there though, very busy city, but no one's in a hurry.
