Holiday update: Just booked into an AirBnB
So my parents own an apartment in Sax, Spain. They were heading over for two weeks so I decided to accompany them.
We arrived on Saturday to find that the apartment has no electricity because those two buffoons mucked up the direct debt and the electricity account has been cancelled.
This being Spain there is no hurry on anything and it could well be the wrong side of Christmas before the electric is back on.
Anyhoo, the doorbell to the apartment runs on the apartment complex's electricity. As a cheeky work around I have been able to connect into it and charge my electrical devices for the past few days by wiring in an extension lead and running it to the hallway. Not ideal and likely illegal, needs must.
So after the better part of a week of cold showers, sitting in the dark in 4c heat and only mobile data I decided to book an AirBnB in the next town over. My parents didnt want any of it because my father is so tight with money he squeaks.
I just got through the door, had a warm shower and started doing some laundry 鈽猴笍
