And they're really milking it for all it's worth...commemorative magazines, collectibles, that star-studded "50th Anniversary Special" on ABC last weekend, etc!
At the risk of showing my age, reminds me of the 50th anniversary Wizard of Oz media blitz that we experienced in the summer of 89...I was only 10 at the time, but remember TV segments/specials, magazine articles, etc, all in the run-up to the special VHS edition of the film released that August.
