I Want to Know Your Funniest Vacation Memory

A long time ago me and my brothers were trekking across one of the more barren moors in the South-Eastern parts of my country. Suddenly we noticed a lovely small pond of sorts with surprisingly clear water (bog/moor water is usually brown thanks to dissolved iron) so naturally, we decided to go for a swim. I was the first one to check the land and as one would expect, I fell knee-deep into a swampy hole. A pant leg and a boot got stuck into the mud and they've now turned rock solid like someone was still actually wearing them. So now in the middle of nowhere, there's a singular foot sticking out of a bog. The long way back was pretty embarrassing, I must admit...

was out hiking in the White Mountians. was approached by red squirrel. very tame. came right up. stole a peanut right out of my granola bag. I was too astonished to even more at his brazen audacity. little booger!
