I have a sulfa allergy

And it makes finding skin care products kinda hard. I used a new lotion two days ago and broke out in hives..it was absolutely awful. Benadryl helped a little, I just took two more.
So, my question is, what are some good hypoallergenic lotions and soaps? I currently use Dial, but I'd like something with a more feminine fragrance and not the generic Dial smell. As for lotion, I pretty much just use vaseline and aquaphor for dry spots and tattoo care.
I'd like to use an actual lotion that isn't as heavy as petroleum jelly.

I can't use any either, trouble with cremes is they heat up your skin so makes things alot worse. Try witch hazel, it's very cheap, cools and cleans the skin and is brilliant for lots of skin problems. Also keep things simple, buy an aloe Vera plant. You can cut them and use on skin. Pop to google and have a look at both witch hazel and aloe Vera, if you've never used them before.

@ajoite I have used them before, never realized witch hazel would actually come in handy like this...thank you :)

@ManicMortuary You're welcome, another thing you could do is make your own very cheap thing for your skin, you need any kind of oats, oatmeal or porridge and a piece of muslin. You can get that from any store that sells alcohol brewing stuff, it's just a piece of cotton that lets water through if you've never heard of it before. Put the oats in the cotton and choose a nice essential oil that you like and add a few drops then tie up in a ball then use in shower, it feels lovely or use in bath and lightly rinse off your skin afterwards. It's really hard to find soap that doesn't have crap in it, even the so called natural soaps from health food shops seem to. I would seek out if anyone is selling home made soaps, just basic soaps but with essential oils for fragrance instead of chemicals.

I have really sensitive skin and find a brand called Liz Earle really good. It's all made from natural ingredients and causes way less flare ups than anything else I've tried, but everyone is different

@ManicMortuary The lady who developed it did it because she had her own skin issues and wanted something effective but kind. It all smells gorgeous as well

@WelshLovely Thank you for the advice! I'm gonna do some research on it
