Will he find it easier to get massive Tax cuts for the rich passed ?

SW-User
I don't think any of them encounter problems getting that done.

He sure will

I guess it depends on what is considered "rich."

@Jakey75 There are lots of families with a net worth over 1M. Many of them would not consider themselves "rich."

@Ellen they are certainly not poor
Ellen · 46-50, F
@Jakey75 Certainly not. But there are many families that would be considered middle class by most. For example, two married teachers making $75k each who have saved for retirement, have a decent house that has appreciated in value, maybe have some additional savings...and add it all up and it's over $1M. But I guarantee they don't consider themselves "rich."

The rich need help too

Why is it always the rich? Why not the middle class? They are the ones that get stuck with the tab for all the free loaders.

@Picklebobble2 The so called 1%, already pay almost 30% of the income taxes now. The top 10% pay almost 40%. Just how much is their fair share? If you took all of their money it would run the government for about 90 days.
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
@jackson55 So the question has to be, what are the government doing with your taxes ? Why is everybody so squeezed when there is no indication of an economic slowdown or recession imminent ??

[@ It's pretty easy to see. Overspending on every crazy social program that comes along. Many states like California are upside down in social spending. 45 billion in debt for state employee benefit programs. They keep raising taxes and fees and are just paying the intrest on the money they owe. More and more people with any money are leaving the state. I live in Arizona now where there are no public employee unions. The state is run by mostly Senceable polititions. I don't know what the answer is but hopefully there will be a major taxpayer revolt.
Must look after the rich. The poor can go to hell-like in Britain under the Tories.Passed with no problem I should think.
