Take a scratch awle and poke around where the deck meets the house. If you can push in easy with no resistance then you have rot.

Is it on the gable end or the eve side?

@Quoththeraven it's is on the same side as the one in your picture. It's technically the front of the house, though we put it in place backwards, on purpose, so it's the back, but really the long front side.
Yeah that's bad news. Do you have a metal frame underneath?

Is have to see but I think that band joist would be easy to replace.
