Do you ever just feel like you are bored with the world and nothing in it will excite you long enough?

I really hate the world, it was never a suitable place for me

Of course. But excitement is meant to be temporary. That's in its nature. That's why we have so many other emotions. Focus too hard on one and you'll lose sight of the rest.

@Madhatter I have my gosls, I even have goals for the next 20 years. I do want to achieve them and I do want to get there, i'll feel good about it but i'm still not excited about this world, yknow?

@Madhatter That's not it. At all. I'm not excited about life itself. I'm mentally ill and this is a manifestation of it.

@offingg Have you been diagnosed? I take certraline for depression. Maybe you'd want to give that a try. Assuming you haven't already.

@Madhatter Yeah, I have depression. I have tried 2 medications so far, i'm not ready for a new one. As starting new antidepressants gives a lot of side effects and I need to study for my boards so I can't risk it.
