Are some people that shallow?

Listening to the radio this morning and they were talking about the city syncing the lights to keep traffic moving better.

One young lady called in and said she had just caught every green light and it was "absolutely the best day of my life!"

She really must not have much of a life? Does anyone else feel that way?
It mattered to her and it made her day. Good for her.lol

@BemyValentine But the "best day of her life?"
@bigjohndl Why not? It may not be for you nor I. But for her it was.We don't know how her life's been.Sometimes the simplest things bring a bit of joy to us humans. Just saying. I mean, I'm not one to judge one's happiness.
i think she's the type to abuse superlatives to make her sentences sound better

I'm grateful everyday for small things. Maybe she was not hitting red lights! Lol

Your on SW complaining about a women on the radio who remarked about not hitting traffic...

🤔
An she's the one without a life?

@USER42 Well, you are here too, commenting on it. And yes I have a life and still do. And my best day was not hitting all the lights while driving down the street.

And btw, I was not complaining about it. Just asking others a question.

😂

Has anyone ever accused you of over thinking meaningless things?

@USER42 Honestly, can't say that I ever remember it happening. But while I may be happy that I hit no red lights on a particular trip, I know that I have never said it was the "happiest day of my life".
