California is leading the US economy. Should the rest of the states look to California as a model for sustained growth?

The 5th largest economy in the world (tied with the UK). 1/7th of the US GDP. Alternative energy, tightening of regulation on bonds and immigration are three of the factors cited to its success. Quite the opposite of what the current administration is trying to accomplish.

As a Californian I can't tell you how Jerry Brown has helped turn the state around following the debacle that was Schwarzenegger. I'm also proud of the way the state has fought back against the administrations threats. I know people love to hate California. (NOT "Cali.") Typically it's because they've never been here or they're the type who stands against progress. They're also usually pretty big on State rights which I always find ironic. That's cool. We'll continue to do our thing. Maybe we can show what "winning" really looks like.
