Yes, sexuality is fluid, according to new research. But not that you have any say in the decision, its a subconscious one

@rickfreeman15 uhm no. Its a thing that you are when you are born. End of story. DNA ..Genetics and all that jazz..sorry...your "recent evidence" (sorry.."new research") needs peer reviewed studies as back up before it is even considered anything worth looking at.

@rickfreeman15 no way!

@JaggedLittlePill DNA studies did not identify a gay gene. They only identified some similarties in the genetic make up and it is only applicable to a limited number of homosexual men not everyone.

The studies he is referring to are peer reviewed and just as credible

@Miram They identified genetic differences. I never said a gene was identified. That does not mean it is not genetic or in the chemical makeup of the individuals brain.

@JaggedLittlePill That also doesn't mean sexuality is set in stone. It's just as mutable as the rest of the human brain. That isn't to say that there aren't people with a predisposition toward one orientation or another that may be enforced or dissuaded through personal experiences in life. Honestly the whole thing is pretty poorly understood at the moment.

@JaggedLittlePill The article you provided is an example of very bad journalism. The current scientific consensus is that it is both nurture and nature، And it is impossible to generalise which is more prevalent to all cases of homosexuality.

Let's not forget that psychologists "experts" not long ago considered it a mental illness. It is them who are antigay simply swinging now with mainstream politics. It is them who are responsible for the suicide of all homosexuals suffering side effects of their methods. Psychology is no science to me until other sciences are fully integrated and it is no longer engaged in politics.
