I believe it's rather arrogant of us to assume we know for sure when there are no facts to support either argument. Our beliefs, either way, are simply a matter of faith.
The more adamant we are, the more arrogant!

@asnorkler The Invisible Pink Unicorn has not been proven to not exist, therefore it does. I just hope it doesn't collide with Russell's Teapot.

@suzie1960 Proven is the key word!
Probabilities aren't proof either and our inability to comprehend beyond our realm are an equal probaility.
Better minds than ours are detecting evidence of intelligent design simply because even the big bang theory is full of holes.
Begging the question is a fallacy btw
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@asnorkler Even better minds reject the creation hypothesis. No scientist claims the Big Bang Theory is complete but the holes are being filled. If you want to try to fill those holes with a creator, you need to explain where that creator came from and why the universe could not have come into being the same way.

I don't understand your reference to petitio principii or "begging the question". There is as much evidence for the existence of the Invisible Pink Unicorn as there is for the christian god.

@asnorkler You tried making some irrelevant points and made it clear you didn't want me to respond to them. Why bother making them if you're not prepared to defend them?

If you're not interested in what I have to say, don't try engaging me in debate.
