What is your favourite historic site where you live?

From my kitchen window I can see an apartment building where Jack Kerouac lived for a few weeks in the summer of 1947. Never ceases to inspire me.

Washington Irving's Sunnyside home and the nearby Old Dutch Church and Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. I also like Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, not far from my other residence.
