What is the best way to do it with a Talkative person?

If someone you know kept talking and telling all of their long stories and moments and bla bla bla.
What will you do to stop this or you will keep listening forever?

I just went through this at work. She would not shut up, one of those people that goes from one tangent to another and never stops. I had to interrupt her or she would have kept on going.
