Why we expect so much from men?

If women have freedom to choose whether they want to be housewife or work outside then why can't men choose? Why men does not have freedom to play house husband or stay at home dad? Why we always expect men to find a job and earn money?

men are horrible in keeping the place clean. to cook decently. can't get pregnant. like to drink beer all day long. some lean over to dope. and then the fucking swearing! lol

@cycleman: But I know plenty of men whose places are spotless---especially men with backgrounds in the military. And lots of men can cook quite well. On the other hand, not all women are neat (moves clutter aside). 😇
