Why we expect so much from men?

If women have freedom to choose whether they want to be housewife or work outside then why can't men choose? Why men does not have freedom to play house husband or stay at home dad? Why we always expect men to find a job and earn money?

Amen to that sister. There's lot of irresponsible and immature, not to mention abusive men out there. You can't live with them if such kind of people as a husband. It's always safe to have a career and get settled for a woman before the commitment. I learned that from my mother's marriage with a psychopath.
