we have WW11 weekend here every first week in june. get B17s B25s B29s and fighters flying over the house for 3 days.

@irishwonder1973: my uncle was a gunner on a B17 and was shot down over Germany spent a year in as a pow until freed by American troops

@dentope3: That must have been scary on those huge bombing runs never knowing if your plane would be shot out of the air.I have nothing but repsect for those men.Also can you imagine what a 1000 bomber raid sounded like from the ground.

@irishwonder1973: was in college in Ohio in the late 60's early70's. B52's flew in and out of Wright Pat air force base. gave you goosebumps

@dentope3: I was in Sturgis for the big motorcycle rally.They had B-1's going over.Most impressive.
