What is sanity? I mean, are you sure you are sane?

Well when I left the treatment centre I got some release papers so a psychiatrist said I was ok to be allowed out... where's your bit of paper saying that?

Sanity is a legal expression not a psychological diagnosis. It refers to one's ability to stand trial for a specific crime and refers to only the time of the crime in question.

As for how I know I am well mentally, I evaluate it in terms of how I'm functioning; it varies from day to day.

I can't claim to be sane. By many peoples standards I am not. I'm not dangerous though.

As long as my perception of reality remains undistorted, then I am ok

According to society I am virtually insane. Reason being is because I spread love over and over again expecting the same results

No they say I'm criminally insane

To me sanity is when you're not mentally ill and/or when you have control of yourself.

That is a good question and what if there is just this one corner of your brain that is wacky does that make the rest of it.
