Always cash and never use a debit card. Credit card for gas only. It's how we budget our money and is extremely helpful in managing our budget and not overspending.

A the unwillingness to use cash fascilitates the power and control of the surveillance state. Anybody who refuses to use cash hates their personal privacy and freedom. To give up freedom for convenience is just plain wrong.

I am definitely old school in that I carry cash, but only when I know I will be shopping. I have never used a debit card. On rare occasions, I will use a credit card.
This seems to cause a lot of confusion with some cashiers (especially the younger ones). I guess they're so used to seeing people pay for a pack of gum with a debit card that they are surprised when I pull out cash.
