Why is the world so damned loud?

I just want to run out into the middle of the woods to get some quiet.

Tell me about it - Instead of sweeping my neighbor who must have a clean driveway uses an electric leaf blower consonantly to keep it clean, he even uses it to blow pollen off his dumb sports car - then he starts that up and you can hear the loud exhausts 2 blocks away - what a meatball - glad I moved to a fancy neighborhood...

@Meowsolini: No! The fancy neighborhood is where I live, next to the noisy meatball! He also, never brings his garbage pails in from the front of his house, which is bizarre, and the village never cited him. We should have stayed in funky town...
