Why is the world so damned loud?
I just want to run out into the middle of the woods to get some quiet.

Seems louder than it used to be, more power tools, electronics, and crowded. I was born on a farm and you'd hear more nature sounds than anything, and it was not common to see a plane flying over either. Living in an air force flight path now, and can hear the traffic a couple blocks away where there's an intersection.
