What's a better way to say "Hello. How are you?"

Apparently some people don't bother to check new messages that start with "Hello. How are you?"

or Hi, could you xxx
or just straight into the body of what you want to say, no formality or salutation

If you want to be 'really' sure, maybe start with:
'I want your body!'😁
