Do you believe in generation "gaps"?

I certainly don't. My niece is many decades younger than me (18), and much to my sisters dismay, she prefers the company of this ageing old "crazy" hippy rather than her mom or dad. She cannot stand the fact that they are racist snobs who hate the fact that Hannah is dating a great mexican boy. She spent last month with me and we had a blast.

Instead of going to her High school prom, she saw a flyer in my home for "Pride Prom" a yearly event for high school gays but has become a favorite with straight kids as well, they come from all over So. Ca. to Palm Springs for this event. Sis wasn't so happy about this either since gay people are all going straight to hell.

Hannah wants to move in with me come this fall for college, my sister is going to have a major fit, but I wouldn't mind, we are like sister and brother...I'm not sure as to what to decide, her happiness is more important to me than my sisters approval. What do you think?

I don't believe in generation gaps either, I get along with any age just fine. It's about the person
