Bad thoughts are creeping in again. Vaguely suicidal ones. How do I stop them? :'(

Although the thoughts are serious, the question proper is more rhetorical than anything.

I take a medication that helped me so much that I wonder why I waited so long to get help. I also keep track of my thoughts by writing them down and then I reread them later.

@Iamnolongerhere: I'm on medication, but I forgot to take it yesterday (took it today though!), so it might be something to do with that.
