Power system Automation, Smart Metering projects has wide scope in India, Thailand, Sri Lanka and other South east Asian countries. Lot of Electrical substation in South East Asian countries are not automated.Government of these country are taking initiated step towards power system automation for better power reliability ,and to curb electricity theft.
Power System hardware and software manufacturer company are not in South East Asian countries. Some of US manufacturer are specialized in this domain. 5 Billion dollar worth of projects will be coming in near future .
