How are your experiences here compared to Experience Project?

I'm just wondering what similarities/differences you've expereinced on this website compared to EP? Good and bad. Just for personal curiosity to find out other users opinions.

Well The Experience Project was more like a diary.
Posting your life experiences.
There was very little interaction between posters.
Here you get to do the same; post questions with things currently on your mind; and get to discuss things live, so to speak.

@Picklebobble2: Yeah, that's the biggest thing I've noticed too. Tbh, I feel like I get a lot more private messages on here than I ever did at EP even though I posted more over there than I did here haha.

@MysticMermaid456: That's likely! I just sent you one. The reason....People on this type of site are really looking for 'connnection' - ideological and philosophical connections. (Of course there are the few like "signmeupforthat" who just enjoy banter). So... once they find someone they are bound to follow up with a personal message to explore that person's personality and share.

That's a really interesting insight. Ideological and philosophical connections are really interesting. One of the main reasons I joined up to EP was to reach out and find people who were in similar circumstances that I was at the time and to feel that connection is really calming I feel.
