not if you're to be paid time and a half. Not only will you make more money but you will be known as someone that can be counted on to pitch in when needed
@dumpstermeow: When I was a supervisor I paid attention to those who took initiative and those who chipped in when it was needed. And I gave them extra points in their annual review, which meant more of an increase in pay. Hopefully, you have such a boss.
@dumpstermeow: Excellent. You can also use this opportunity, assuming your boss will be there, to strike up a conversation and become better acquainted with your boss. It's a little brownnosing but not a crime.
