Because, its so very easy to get caught up in superficial things. The way the media is, the way our society is...its all about shallow self centered ideals.
Very few people stop and consider the value of having some one with you that you trust, and truly connect with; some one who understands your fears and dreams. Instead people tend to only concern themselves with finding the hottest, coolest, most popular,or richest. Its sad.
