Mine is pine pitch. I just love the smell of pine trees

@cherokeepatti: Part of what you're smelling when it rains is soil bacteria :)

@Drdirt: There are two odors associated with rain, the smell of approaching rain is ozone and the second is the smell of wet dirt (geosmin), geosmin is in beets which is why some people hate beets saying that they taste like dirt.
