If you had a set of medieval armour would you wear it outside?

Or would you keep it inside the house desperately wanting to wear it but you are too afraid to be judged negatively by all those around you?

You do realize that you need a lot of help to get into plate mail armor. Chain mail isn't easy to get into either. Then try walking with 70 to 200 pounds of metal on you.

@MasterDvdC: I wore full plate armour grocery shopping yesterday and it was not overly difficult for me to get into it by myself, and I am wearing a chainmail hauberk right now, made from 14 gauge mild steel, It was no more difficult than putting on a t-shirt. At least for me. I do suppose if someone lacks to strength to wear it comfortably it will be considerably more difficult to put on and take off. Another fun fact, wearing a belt with chain mail armour helps to take some of the weight off your shoulders, it feels much lighter than it actually is when you are wearing it. Properly designed plate armour has the same effect. Think about the load bearing harnesses and vests soldiers will use to carry equipment. The straps and buckles on properly crafted armour works similar the same. Another fun fact, the amount of equipment a infantry soldier is required to carry in modern day is more than a medieval knight or foot soldier had to carry.
