Yeah !!
Hermione's character doesn't change all that much through the series.
She's still swotty; smart; ticked off by those she considers beneath her. It's amazing she tolerated Ron at all for the first half of the stories.
But his is a journey of discovering himself.
A bit wimpy and gimpy in the beginning. But as the stories progress, you see him come out of himself a bit more and forge his own personality.
