Anyone have any experience of a hot air balloon ride?

Yes I have. Incredible,, the fire is loud and the rise tickles your tummy

It looks fun, but I could never do it.

I love flying, but that would make me nervous too. On the other hand, it's like a plane because once you're in it, you can't do much except enjoy the ride. Let us know how it went!

Hope you went and had a great experience. I have found it wonderful and relaxing and almost surreal as you float past people, houses, cars and everything looks small and in slow motion.

I went on one, in an attempt to cure my fear of heights.
