Idk what they're doing so no for me

My immediate thought was that they were praying . . only they are facing in different directions and have their shoes on! I've done earthquake drill, where you have to hide beneath your desk 🙂

Fortunately, when I was in school we didn't have to do this much, but yes I hated it when we did In a hallway packed with people who hated you for no reason. For us this was only done for like tornadoes/thunder storms I recall.

It wasn’t a tornado drill since we didn’t live in tornado country. During the Cold War, it was an air raid drill.

Never had to do that. But did under the desk drills. Which still would not work for some schools

this would have been my worst nightmare when i was in school. I barely had to bend over to pick up a book without having my entire butt crack on display.:( I can't imagine having to pose like this for anything other than an actual tornado.😱

Yep! It was a nuclear attack drill for me.

I guess they thought facing the wall with my butt sticking out was somehow going to help protect me during a nuclear attack.

Tornado drills where I live involved sitting on your butt and covering your neck. Then in high school, we went to interior science labs and sat under the cabinet-tables. I can see why you'd hate the position depicted.

Never had to but I noticed the teachers are not being examples to follow in this idiocy. Whomever came up with this is a few brick shy of a load;
This excersise is worthless for any purpose!
