Do you like rain?

Many people hate it but I adore it. I live in England so am faced with it a lot (and I'd love to move to Scotland so I can get some more) and I love to make the most of it! It's so much fun to pull on my wellies and coat and go out into the rain and stomp around, finding all the most enormous puddles to get saturated in and maybe find some mud to squelch around in! And it's also really relaxing when you're indoors, wrapped up in a blanket in front of the TV with a roaring fire on and enjoy a hot chocolate.

Do you like rain? And if you do what do you like to do in out - put on wellies and go for a long, wet, maybe muddy walk or lie indoors and keep nice and warm and relaxed as the rain trickles down your window?

Lots of beautiful things about rain but a person will never really appreciate it fully until they experience a drought so severe that wildfires become a daily thing burning up many acres of farms, pastures, woods and homes. We've experienced that several periods in the past decade. Everything turning brown, crops failing and many types of wildlife so parched they can't survive, including bees.

@MuddyWelliesLover96: Like one lady said when she came into the store where I was a greeter "We got a pretty rain today". It rained this afternoon and as I was driving home I was thinking "this is a pretty rain."

It is very pretty to watch. And it allows for pretty clothes, like colourful coats and wellies!

@MuddyWelliesLover96: Yes one of the nicest memories I had while working at a university was looking out the window one rainy morning and seeing a couple hundred students stand at the crosswalk waiting to go to class and seeing all the colorful umbrellas...it would have made a beautiful photo.

Mmm, very pretty! Though I don't really don't do umbrellas, I prefer to let the rain pitter patter on the hood of my coat!

My favourite thing about rainy days though is wearing wellies! Do you love that?

Awww, you're missing out! You can walk anywhere you like in them, jumping into all the puddles and maybe seeing if you can find some mud! I wear mine practically all the time when it rains and I relish getting to be a big kid in the mud and puddles!

@MuddyWelliesLover96: I know, I like to walk in gentle rains...can't do it when there's lightning and most of the time we have lightning here. I know of a man who lives about 10 miles from where I live and he's been hit by lightning 6 times.

Goodness me! I'd be careful in storms myself though I do like to watch them. But where I am we can really great heavy rain where I can put on wellies and act like a kid outside without stormy effects!

It's a lovely smell and I do like being damp and wet from my outdoor playing only to warm up in a nice hot shower afterwards!
