Why on earth do people follow you if they didnt plan to chat with you?

I follow people if i find them or their posts interesting. It allows me to quickly look at the people I find interesting to see if something new was posted vs. scrolling thru all the other crap.

I also do it when I don't have time to chat. I mark them so I know to return at a later time and write an intelligent email.

@Fryguy67: personally i would never follow someone unless i get to know them by chatting with them first...i made the mistake of following people first because i thought they were interesting only to find out they were real douchebags...

@annamarie65: You can always unfollow someone. My memory isn't what it once was - If I don't talk to them right away, or follow them, I'll never remember who they were...

you cant take someone off your list that add you, you can only remove people you add...i mean you an block them....

@annamarie65: Good point. I don't get many followers, so haven't experienced that.
