Why on earth do ppl follow me if they've never chatted with me in the first place?...but expect me to add them back?
annamarie65 · 56-60, F
exactly my point

@SailorMarz: You adding them back doesn't affect them, so why do you assume they expect that?
annamarie65 · 56-60, F
@Pleswe: what are you talking about? who said anything about adding them back?
SW-User
@annamarie65: SailorMarz did, and you said that was exactly your point.
SailorMarz · F
@Pleswe: because they tell me too.
SW-User
@SailorMarz: well, in that case you have a point. But they can tell you to add them without adding you and it will be just as meaningless. Their circle is their choice, your circle is yours.

@Pleswe: i said exactly my point when she said "why on earth do people follow me if they have never chatted in the first place"

@annamarie65: and my question: what has chatting to do with following?
annamarie65 · 56-60, F
@Pleswe: my question is what is the point to follow someone that doesnt write stories, generally people follow someone they want to chat with and get to know. nuff said.

@annamarie65: There is indeed no (technical) point in adding someone without any stories or questions. It essentially only gives easier access to someone's posts and therefore implies interest in those, but the feature itself doesn't imply anything else. You may add people out of interest for a chat, but others may add people just for their stories or something else entirely. I can't judge other people's motives when there is no technical advantage, but I'm fairly sure an interest in chatting isn't the only reason for everyone.
