I get that. I thought they were gay as all hell until I got one. He smarter and way more fun than the Golden's I had or the St. Bernard my daughter has.

I grew up with small dogs, they areytippy yappy and often annoying. I love the two big dogs we adopted. There's such a stark difference in behavior that don't think I'll ever get a rat dog again.

@crabbyhermit: yappers suck. Mine's cool. He'll fetch and play like a big dog. He'll growl and talk to you if he wants you to do something. He can walk on his hind lead. I taught him about the pool, so he'll go outside on his own and take a dip just to cool off.
He's also a herder. He'll literally run into everyone's bedroom in the morning, jump in bed and sit on your chest until you wake up for breakfast.

@Adogslife: that dog may be the exception to the rule. I still can't take a dog under 50 lbs seriously though.
