If you are not supposed to abuse the cough syrup why does it come with a shot glass?

Should be careful with that stuff. The DXM is harmless enough, in moderate doses, but the other additives like decongestants, antihistamines, and painkillers can be dangerous in large amounts. Acetaminophen is particularly dangerous in large amounts.
