Why is Windows 10 such an incompetent piece of shit?

Why can't it be more like XP? :(

I don't care, I just want my laptop to work properly. I was using AMD processors before you were born.

I'd give anything to have a laptop with a mechanical keyboard, laptop keyboards are such shit. I got the best one I could, ie Lenovo, but there's still no comparison. I only ever play indie Steam games anyway so I don't need discrete graphics eating my battery and cooking my lap. I have a preference for really intense difficult games with simple graphics, and there's lots of great ones on Steam.

Sometimes I think about putting a workstation together again because Ableton is such a bitch to use with a trackpad. Mechanical keyboards were the norm when I was young and when the first rubber dome keyboards came along I was like "wtf is this shit" and kept my old keyboards for literally decades. I've only been forced onto rubber domes when I moved to laptops.

Damn, I remember reading recently about someone's low-profile mechanical keyboard technology, available as a Bluetooth keyboard, and I was pretty excited about it, hoping it would make its way into laptops. I'm looking for it but now I can't find it or remember the manufacturer. It was someone well-known.

I write a lot, too, and it's wretched on this thing.

@GermanAf: I'm liking this new trend of them becoming widely available again. There was a Dark Ages for a while when they were virtually unobtainable, which is why I kept mine. When you spend all day at work typing, nearly every day, these things really matter. I also stuck with greyscale screens for a long time because they were sharper than colour CRTs and there was less eyestrain reading text.
