If you 'add a story' to a group...

Does it only post there, or does it appear on the main 'questions' feed too?

Far as I can tell, everything posted anywhere, question or story, appears on the main feed.

Oh yes, it does seem to... I haven't really paid attention to how this site works until now. I wanted to post in a group but not necessarily have it seen by a wider audience. I think I'll leave it.

I wouldn't let it affect you. Especially during busier hours like now. A post is well down the feed in a matter of minutes.
