Let's see he routinely tried to pretend he was driving off bridges and into lakes and rivers. Threatened to feed me to alligators so no one would find me. Oh and threaten to kidnap my kids so I'd never see them again.
he definitely needs to be in a padded cell
@MisterClean254: and people wonder why relationships terrify me lol

... I'd get a restraining order on him so fast. 😲
@nemoubliepas: i understand, i attract psychos. LOL
@xBigMamax: I was with him for 13 years because of the threats of him running off with my kids. I'm lucky that he's 4 states away and found someone else to torment.
@nemoubliepas: you can surely bet he is making someone elses life suck right now. people like that torment whoever they are with.
@MisterClean254: hey! At least he's not my problem now! I have custody of my daughters and he's far away.

@nemoubliepas: Oh my god! It had to be a hell.
@twistermind: it was. It almost killed me. But I got through that so I know now I can get through almost anything.

@nemoubliepas: Yes, this is the positive side, that you was strong enough to face and overcome the situation and it's even tougher since you have kids.

My friend is living a terrible situation. They are not married but have a little daughter. She had to report him because of mistreats.
After she gave birth her daugher, she had surgery points and the guy threw her stairs down. The points broke.
On another occasion, he kicked her out of the house only in pants and bra.
Now that they are separated the guy's sister hit her in the street.
And yoy know what's the worsr, they judge give them a share custody on the daughter.
@twistermind: yeah the judge gave my ex weekend visitation every other week but he doesn't use them

@nemoubliepas: I understand that a dad is a dad and that a kid has the right to know and share time with his dad but if a guy didn't have any consideration with the person who gave birth to his daughter in these critical days where she was still recovering herself from the birth. Couldn't it be considered mistreat on the baby?
@twistermind: he doesn't even call them. He's essentially abandoned them.

@nemoubliepas: Sad for the kids. I guess it's a negative experience but taking account the family you form now with them, I would bet you all have a much better life.
Happy that you show you could survive. I take my hat off because it's not easy.
@twistermind: we are a lot better without him. I tried to get away for many years. As soon as I had the oldest that was his way of controlling everything.
twistermind · 51-55, F
@nemoubliepas: the oldest? The oldest daughter?
@twistermind: yeah my first daughter. That was when the threats started. It wasn't that he wanted me or the kids. He just wanted to be lazy and let someone else do all the struggling.
twistermind · 51-55, F
@nemoubliepas: I understand. He used your daughter to have you with your hands tied.
@twistermind: that's it exactly. I'm just glad its over honestly.
