As a kid did you ever pretend that the floor was made of lava?

Could you escape your home or whatever building you're in if that were the case right now? Assume all furniture is somehow impervious.

Not lava, but as a kid, based on what we saw on shows like Wonder Woman or The Monkees, I really thought quicksand was going to be a much bigger problem in my adult life.

Hahaha so true. And almost everyone learns not to struggle against quicksand because that makes it pull you down faster... but, like, have you ever even encountered it?
