What 3 things would you advise young people?

For me;
1. Question authority

2. In difficult situations, take the time to take the emotion out of it and weigh the problem objectively.

3. Dare to take a risk and grab the ring of opportunity.

1) Get out of your shell and take risks, we both agree in this point but its the one less followed by many so it has to be said

2) Don't stress, take things one step at a time, most people freak out with small stuff that could be fixed when approached calmly

3) Always hide your clothes when skinny dipping, college problems yo
I especially like #2 on your list. As someone once said, "Just do the thing in front of you, all else will follow.

Very true, I have seen small problems explode because people don't take the time to step back think and approach
@Raver4ever: This is one point I've had to struggle with in my life, e.g. the lost wallet that always caused me to go into a tailspin. (always eventually found) Someone told me, sit back and consider, what is the very worst that could happen?...usually not much.
