Thats what i heard of them
My family rented a farmhouse once when I was a kid and there were pigs there.. We used to give them our watermelon rinds and they'd eat them.. Sometimes some of them would die and the farmer would put them out on the side of the road but I heard that they were so mean they'd eat each other too sometimes

@MrsNel: Hogs are blood-thirsty. I had a German neighbor when I was a teen and he fenced the wooded area between our house and his and got some ducks that nested and raised a lot of other ducks. Then he thought it would be good to get a couple of hogs, they started having babies. Sometimes you'd hear a duck squawking and screaming and then there'd be piles of white feathers over there. At one time they had about 3 dozen ducks and the hogs ate them all eventually. And it stunk to high heaven when the wind blew the stink our way.
