Do you know how to interpret art? If so, what does this painting mean?

The storm clouds represent the troubles, problems and struggles of every day life.
The "Old Oak" represents one individual. While the Oak is strong, the top limbs sway in the wind, but it is the Oak's roots that hold it in place, but the Oak's roots are only so strong, and can be weakend by the rain, symbolized by the Oak's roots being exposed in the painting.
The stone represents a second individual. The storm can brew, the winds can howl and rain can poor, but the stone can never be moved.
In this painting the Oak needs the stone to remain standing and weather the storm.
So basically, no matter how strong we are as individuals, it is best to have a stone close to us, to weather those storms in life, when are roots won't be enough to hold us up.
